The beauty of photographing Robert and Rebecca was that photographing who they were was just came naturally! I couldn't help it! Robert and Rebecca are laughter! They simply enjoy life, and enjoy each other. So rather than trying to set up a bunch of images, I let Robert and Rebecca laugh, goof around, fake pose for cheesy pictures, and laugh some more, and all I had to do was shoot!

Congratulations to the two of you on your engagement and upcoming wedding! I'm looking forward to it!

This upcoming February 7th, an awesome group of women (and any men brave enough to join us) will gather at my home for a lot of learning, LOADS of laughter, and awesome relationship building.

Are you wondering how to take better pictures of your kids at home? Already good with a camera, but want to better understand the technical parts? I'd love to spend the day teaching you the basics, and maybe even throw in a few advanced tips. This is a course mainly for beginners, but would also be beneficial to those wanting a basic refresher. I would prefer that you own a digital SLR (a camera with interchangeable lenses) but will accept any one who wants to learn. The class will cater towards those who use SLRs.

We'll have class from 10-12, break for a group lunch (included in registration), and return for more learning from 1-4.

-Live mini shoot

-QandA

-Mini-mentoring sessions

I know, I know, all you really want to be told is the price... and I think I've been able to do this fairly reasonably for you guys. Early bird rate is due to be paid in full by January 24th, and will be a mere $199! After January 24th, the price will go up a bit to $250.

I get SO sad every time I attend one of these birthday parties! I want my babies to stay babies FOREVER!

Baby Cole turns one, next week on January 7th (that's Austen's birthday, too!). Tonight, we celebrated!

Erika and Tim, you guys are like family now. I feel like we've known you forever, and I'm so thankful that I get to continue to be a part of your life. I hope you love the last slideshow of Baby Cole's first year... and I look forward to seeing you in a few months for our first session of the second year!

First, we met Corey and Jill at Asiana for a delicious post-Christmas lunch. I was so excited to see them, as we hadn't hung out since OSP-Charleston.

Corey and Jill, thanks so much for the awesome gifts. I have some serious cooking to do (expect a blog post soon showcasing some of my new culinary delights.. actually, just showcasing my newfound ability to hide vegetables from myself ;)), and I'm excited about finding a place to put my first edition Corey McNabb print! The kids were excited to have presents too! And Nathan's already halfway through The Big Moo.

After our delicious lunch, we met Khrista at the mall so she and the kids could redeem their Build-A-Bear gift certificates. Fun times... Love you, Khrista.
