Wow, I'm behind on this posting... Thankfully, Alison is my best friend, and won't fire me for being slow :)�

After Alison's ceremony Thanksgiving week, Nathan and the kids and I headed to Asheville to enjoy the holiday with my family. we did some relaxing, and some shopping, and some eating... Then, on the Saturday after Thanksgiving... we drove down to Atlanta to photograph and celebrate with Alison at her wedding reception!�

With Alison, there's always tons of laughter. We joked about leaving her like this for the entire day :) Fun with mirrors. A quickie portrait session before heading over to the location. Love the color in this one. We were excited to find this little church. Love Ardy's smile here. Note: Alison can't stop smiling, even when making out with her husband :) Completely random location... but I love how it turned out. Yummy colors... Alison wanted a few images with Santa. Who am I to stop a bride from being naughty on her wedding day? So excited to see all their guests! I got lucky on this one and grabbed the light from Nathan's flash during the first dance! Better together. Daddy and daughter dance... Love the rim light here :) Big thanks to Nathan for being the best light holder ever... Love this view of the toast. Some of my favorite cake cutting images ever! Love all the cameras :) The dancing was hysterical! Alison's dad had the best dance I've ever seen. Love this shot that Nathan caught of this little guy jumping right out of the frame. Perfect. Hahahaha! Alison and her brother... more hysterical dancing :) Laughing out loud yet? This is the most perfectly timed image ever. Nathan nailed it. After much coercion... Nathan took to the dance floor for the Cha Cha slide. How low can you go? :) Persian dance insanity! Love. Alison could do her dad's dance almost perfectly! Silly... Celebration! Candlelit exit... The end! Love you guys!

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving... my best friend, Alison, had a ceremony to celebrate her marriage. It was very small, meant only for immediate family, and it was held at Sushi Nabe... the super fun sushi restaurant where she and Ardy met. Her father officiated the event, and it was such an initimate and moving ceremony. I was so proud to be a part of it.�

Alison and Ardy also celebrated with a reception in Atlanta, on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I'm working on those images as we speak, and hope to have them online very soon. But for now, I hope you enjoy the love in their ceremony images.�

The transformation process begins... Loved these lashes... and love Darin's concentration in the background! Beautiful preparation details. Darin is absolutely amazing! I adore her! Dad's glasses and his notes for the service. Love this detail that Nathan saw. Final touches... it's almost time. So excited! The hand off... I love Dad's gentle hand on Alison's back as he gives her away. The light in Sushi Nabe was really fun... I really enjoyed shooting there. One of my favorite captures... Nathan framed this image perfectly. Emotion... I think Alison cried all day :) And I think she laughed all day, too! Proud Mom.... Again, beautiful light. Married! Love this image Nathan captured as an overview of the scene. And he managed to do this while cuing the recessional music! Celebration kisses :) One of my faves of the day... so many sweet components. I love seeing Alison and her dad together. They have such a great relationship. Happy and handsome... and married. I love how he is playing with his ring. Nathan nailed this capture! Jeffrey rocked the florals. Really. Love Alison's laugh :) What did I say about the florals? :) We had to do at least one portrait right in front of Sushi Nabe :) We found some awesome color to play with in and around Coolidge park. I have no idea what Ardy said that made Alison laugh so hard... But I'm glad he said it! Beautiful couple! My best friend is a hottie! :) Such rich and amazing color. Ardy's grandparents were just amazing... So much depth and character. When the kids sleep... it really IS happy hour! :) Yum! Love this image of Ardy and his grandpa... They are so close. Unscripted. Love. Yay! Love you guys!

Last weekend, Nathan and I had the amazing privilege of flying to Little Palm Island and spending the weekend photographing the celebration of Brooke and Harrison's marriage. It was nothing short of delightful, from the spectacular location, to the gorgeous and loving couple, to the gracious families, to the amazing accomadations, to the delicious food... We enjoyed our stay very much, and will never forget that weekend!�

Brooke and Harrison are friends of several of our past clients, and we have had the opportunity to interact with them a couple of different times. I knew from the minute I met Brooke that I just had to photograph her wedding... She's absolutely stunning, and as sweet as she can be:) I can't express how excited I was when they called and told us about the wedding plans. We were so thrilled when everything came together!�

Brooke and Harrison, I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that you chose Nathan and I to be a part of your intimate wedding weekend. We felt so loved by everyone in attendance, and are so appreciative of the kindness you guys showed us. Your wedding was absolutely gorgeous, and I am inspired by how much you and your families love each other. I can't wait to hang out again soon, and hope you enjoy your slideshow :)

Nathan and I flew in on a teeny tiny Cesna... only 9 passengers could fit. Check out Nathan's facebook page for a video. It was crazy! Iguanas were everywhere! We knew we were in for a treat when we were greeted with this sight. I loved the personalized detail of having our name on our bungalow. But not as much as I loved the personalized details provided by the bride. Nathan and I were so excited when we arrived in our room and had our favorite sodas! (We also had Jelly Bellys and sour candies! Perfect!) We felt so loved :) Rehearsal dinner location by the pool. The food was absolutely amazing :) Brooke's laughter is infectious. Stolen moment... Brooke and her family went deep sea fishing the morning of the wedding. I'd never been out so far.. it was an awe-inspiring experience for me. Brooke is breathtakingly beautiful... and doesn't know it. Love this image Nathan captured of Harrison on his morning snorkeling excursion. The island was full of fun details like this one. What a way to spend the afternoon of your wedding day! Beauty everywhere. This image of Brooke's dad is the perfect picture of relaxation. Harrison went sailing... so gorgeous. Kayaking, sailing... seriously... this place is paradise. Fun with mirrors. Love the texture and feeling in this image. One of my favorite ring images ever. My husband rocked it. Waiting... More waiting :) Brooke's dad looks so debonair :) Emotional moments. Spontaneous portrait. Brooke is stunning. Absolutely stunning. Nathan's bridal portraits always amaze me. He did these while we were walking to the ceremony site. Final moments... love the light here. About to walk down the aisle. This is my favorite moment of the day... Harrison was so excited to see his bride. Love the way Brooke looks at Harrison like he's the only person on earth. Stunning location... the light was just perfect. The happy couple :) Again with the amazing light... Happy happy families. Love the emotion here... And here... and here. This wedding was full of emotion... you could FEEL how much everyone cared for each other. A few quick portraits as the sun went down... My husband, hard at work. Aren't they amazing? Love this location. Can't say it enough. They're just perfect together. Details. Again... love her laugh! I'm so proud of my husband... and he just looked too amazing out in the ocean at sunset. Love this :) Hehe... I'm not very ladylike with my dress tucked into my camera bag... but at least I stayed dry! Entrance into the reception. Reception location. Beautiful... so beautiful. Brooke and Harrison snuck outside for a quick moment alone... Spontaneous dance... They headed back to their bungalow to change... Love this quiet moment Nathan captured. Brooke came back in an absolutely gorgeous party dress... and the band played a song just for them. So fun! Don't you want to laugh with her? Saying goodbye to the island... love. love. love.
